Essie: Wicked

Hello everyone! I personally am not usually one to paint my own nails, so its not surprising that I don't own many nail polishes! I usually leave my nails plain or with a natural looking finish (from this luuurvely, easy application polish here), but today I'm going to something so I figured it was time to go buy a suitable polish!

I chose Wicked by Essie as I always love Essie polishes, and this one was no exception! The colour is a lovely black cherry, which I think is just so gorgeous and sophisticated looking, but it's not so dark that it looks black on the nails! It had an okay formula, but it did take three coats to get all of the patches out of my polish!

My only problem with this polish was how easily it chips! As I said before, me painting my own nails is a rare occasion, so when I do I want that polish to STAY PUT! The polish (with a top coat on) chipped within the day I put it on!

The colour of the polish is a bit redder in person, but not much!

At the end of the day, I love the colour of the polish and it's easy enough to apply, but it chipped WAAAY too easily and for that reason I would find this colour but from another brand next time!

What about you? Have any of you tried this polish but had better results?
